On August 29th, 2007 the ownership of Pentapharm was transferred to DSM Nutritional Products AG (headquarter Kaiseraugst/Switzerland), the world's leading supplier of vitamins, carotenoids and other fine chemicals to the feed, food, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. It is the clear goal to create the global leading supplier of cosmetic active ingredients by combining DSM's excellent capabilities in claim support, test design and regulatory environment with Pentapharm's track-record in positioning and intriduction of innovative products (see also news section). To maintain the reputation in the market and guarantee our partners the quality standards they expect the name Pentapharm as well as our unique capabilities will not only be sustained by re-enforced with our new and powerful partner DSM in the back.
